Very Soothing!, December 10, 2005

I have the little grey kitty version of this eye pillow. It is very soft, larger than I expected and nicely weighted. It comes in a pretty organza bag that works well for storage. It is scented a big too strong in my opinion, which is the only reason I did not give it five stars. I suspect, however, that the strength of the scent will lessen over time. I have not used it chilled, but have warmed it in my microwave. I generally have to “cook” it for about twice the time suggested to get it as warm as I like, but that could just be my microwave. I frequently get blurry, blood-shot eyes that are red around the rims. I went to see my opthomologist and he said that my oil ducts around my eye lashes were getting clogged and that this is a common problem as we get older (I’m only 40 for God’s sake!!) He recommended hot compresses and this sweet kitty has done the trick! She also did a wonderful job with a sinus headache I had with with a recent cold. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I’ve been suffering from migraines for awhile now and have been looking for things to sooth them. I just bought the little kitty version of this pillow and it took away one of the worst migraines I have ever had in half a day (usually my mild migraines go away after 2 and 1/2 days of agony and medication that doesn’t seem to do much).

Very soothing. The aroma wasn’t too powerful – you only get a hint of it, but it was enough. You can freeze it for when you are overheated with a headache. They said you can even warm it in the microwave, but I haven’t tried that yet. (Mostly I’m overheated with a headache). Works well even when you just feel ill – calms you down and cools you off.

Great buy, even though it seems a little pricey. You will get your money’s worth out of it. It’s the first thing I reach for when I have a headache now.

When I first ordered the Warm Whiskers Eye Pillow, I originally thought it was an actual pillow. There are no measurements listed, but the object is about the size of my hand; just large enough to fit over both eyes. I was slightly disappointed about this, but the functionality makes up for its small size.

It feels wonderful resting on your head, and smells lovely. I have tried cooling it and heating it, and both times it worked like a charm. The eye pillow is very soothing on its own, but maximizes its relaxation powers when warm or cool. It is nice to sleep with, but can fall off because there’s no strap to hold it against your head, which most sleep masks have. And do be aware: this is pretty much a sleep mask, and not really a pillow.

I bought this for my son. He has headaches and trouble sleeping. He loves the scent and the warmth relaxes him. He wants it every night and it is convenient to just microwave it. I think it helps him sleep and maybe helps his allergy-clogged sinuses too.

I can’t sleep without my puppy mask!, September 1, 2009

I am a practical and skeptical person and I rarely comment about products. But since purchasing my puppy eye mask about five or six years ago, I have not slept a night without it – not by choice, anyway. It is absolutely awesome and what they say about it reducing eye strain and facial tension is 110% true. You will absolutely love this product. I am sorry they don’t come in more manly designs because I’d get one for my brother and husband. It’s hard to believe, but this little item will really make a difference in the quality of your sleep and reduces the time it takes to totally relax after lying down to sleep.
