Okay, I’m somewhat exaggerating, but this pillow is the BEST. Unlike the snoogle or other C-shaped pillows, this one is contoured to fit a pregnant woman’s body. The rectangular part at the top serves as a regular pillow for your head, and the long part of it can go either behind you, down your back, or in front of you, depending on which way you lie. The long part is also contoured with a little “lip” that either fits perfectly into the small of your back or right above the pregnant belly, depending on which way you’re facing. The curved part at the bottom goes between your thighs to keep your back aligned properly, and the curly little “tail” part goes under your body, either right above your hips or right at the top of your belly. Either way, your belly is cushioned and “cuddled” very comfortably.

I found out two years ago that I have no disc material in between my lowest vertebrae and am prone to back problems. I have been able to avoid back problems, after first throwing my back out very painfully two years ago, with physical therapy and exercise. But when I got pregnant, I was worried about how it would affect my back as I gained weight, since I’d had back pain during my first pregnancy. I started having back pain while sleeping about 8 weeks ago – but the first night I used this pillow (at 24 weeks), I had NO BACK PAIN at all! I wish I’d bought it sooner!

Also, unlike the snoogle, this product has a cover that has a long zipper on the longest side, so it is no problem to remove the cover and wash it. I’ve heard complaints about the cover for the snoogle, that it fits on like a sleeve and is therefore hard to remove to wash.

One more thing – I ordered this to be shipped regularly and the manufacturer delivered it to me the next day, so I was able to use it right away. I am very happy with this product. I may use it even after pregnancy!

Once I hit 20 weeks in pregnancy, it became increasingly difficult to get comfortable in bed. I tried propping a pillow under my belly, but the help was only marginal. I looked into a variety of body pillows and I chose this one because of the built-in pillow section for between the knees and it seemed versatile for folding up around my body to breastfeed (when the time comes). I use the pillow to sleep on my left side, still hugging an additional bed pillow for added belly support. Having the long part of the pillow as a “backstop” is helpful. Some nights I sleep soundly in this position all night. Other times I roll over on my right side and curl myself around the long part of the pillow (I then stuff a bed pillow at my back to get the “backstop” effect). Rolling over isn’t graceful – I have to disentangle my legs and get my right arm/shoulder under the long part of the pillow – and the U-shaped pillow may accomplish everything in one (belly support, “backstop” and knee pillow), but for the price of the cozy cuddler I am quite happy to have it (plus it doesn’t seem huge in our queen-sized bed).

A good design but better suited for shorter sizes women (under 5’4″) b/c can’t curl very well under my legs at 5’6. I wish that it was a bit thicker to support the back of my back more. It is has a nice fabric though and I like that it has a normal rectangular pillow shaped part at the top of the cuddler.

Since i found out i was pregnant i’ve been having more issues sleeping. When i received this pillow, the first night i was sleeping up to 2 hours at a time. Now after a week i’m able to sleep up to 5 hours at a time without having to get up and move from feeling sore!

This pillow is so fluffy and comfy, and definitely helped my belly and back. It fit in my queen sized bed with my husband and I with space to spare. Would buy again.

This pillow needs more pillow inserts. It has enough in the head section of the pillow, but not enough for the legs. This product will not be one that will last very long. It will go flat in no time and no longer be comfortable as it is in the beginning. I recommend putting more money in the pillow if you want actual back support and if it needs to last longer.

This is a great pillow for the price. I am 21 weeks & tend to toss/turn all night long. This pillow is nice because it allows you to sleep on either side, while staying relatively comfortable. I was hesitant to spend $70 on a pillow without being able to try it first, so the more affordable price of $40 was worth the risk. The side of the pillow that forms to your body is a bit skinny, but once again this is worth $40. The top is shaped like a regular pillow; I love that it’s not curved. My husband loves sleeping on it, too.

I bought this body pillow in hopes for support during sleep. I wouldn’t recommend this one because the body pillow itself isnt really thin and there isn’t much stuffing. When you put it between you legs the pillow is thick enough to support your hips. You’d be better off just buying a body pillow at the store.
I am going to buy th bigger body pillow shaped like a horse shoe. Its more expensive but hopefully it does the job.

I bought this pillow based on the other Amazon reviews. I actually had a different pregnancy pillow that was a hand-me-down- not sure of the name, but I’ve seen it at Babys-R-Us. It looks like a long tube pillow. I did NOT like that pillow at all. But this pillow, I absolutely could not live without!

I suffered a major hip injury during this pregnancy- around week 12. It hurt just to walk. I broke down and bought this pillow because my hip pain was so severe, esp. during the night. I kept having to shift back and forth and both hips hurt.

I read a one lady’s review about how she slept *opposite* of how the picture shows, with the square pillow area in between her legs, rather than at her head. The more narrow part I use as a pillow. I have been using it like this and I have zero hip pain!!!!!!! I can even work out again.

I am 29 weeks pregnant now and I do suffer from bad heartburn, so at night I also use a wedge pillow to lift up my upper body. But I just put the narrow part of this pillow up where my head is, on top of the wedge pillow, and I sleep like a dream. I also like to have the long part of the pillow go where my tummy is, so I can lean forward a bit and baby is supported.

I don’t do a lot of reviews, and only then on products that I absolutely love. YOu won’t be disappointed in this pillow. I’ve washed the zip off cover once already and just hung it out to dry. It held up fine washing with my sheets. Someone had said it was made flimsy, but I have definitely not found that to be the case. The pillow case is 100% cotton and has kept me feeling cool.
